Blessings, Beloveds,
Healing is not a destination; it’s a journey of unfolding and remembering who we truly are. Every breath, every moment of stillness, and every act of awareness brings us closer to our essence. The breath, simple as it may seem, is our most powerful ally on this path.
If you’re seeking to deepen your healing, here are three transformative breath practices to help you start. Try one, try them all, and notice how they feel in your body, heart, and soul. These practices may seem simple, but they’re potent medicine for your being.
Practice 1: The 4-5-7 Triangle for Grounding
Grounding brings us back to the present, where healing begins. This practice settles your nervous system, releasing tension and inviting peace.
1. Inhale for 4: Slowly inhale through your nose for a count of four, feeling the breath expand within you.
2. Hold for 5: Hold the breath gently for a count of five, allowing calm to settle.
3. Exhale for 7: Exhale slowly through the mouth for a count of seven, releasing all that doesn’t serve you.
Repeat this cycle five times, noticing how each breath grounds you more deeply.
Practice 2: Heart-Centred Breathing for Self-Compassion
This practice opens the heart, nurturing the part of you that may feel tender or vulnerable. It’s a gentle embrace for your inner self.
1. Place your hand over your heart and breathe gently.
2. With each inhale, imagine breathing in compassion, gentleness, and love.
3. With each exhale, release any tension or self-judgment.
After a few breaths, whisper to yourself, “I am here. I am loved. I am safe.” Let your breath carry those words into your being.
Practice 3: Breath of Stillness for Clarity
In moments of quiet, we find clarity. This practice invites you to embrace silence and open to the wisdom within.
1. Close your eyes and breathe naturally.
2. Listen to your breath. Feel the rhythm of your inhaling and exhaling, like waves upon the shore.
3. Allow any thoughts to drift away, trusting that in this stillness, your soul speaks.
Take a moment after this practice to journal any insights or emotions that come up.
Remember, Beloveds, these practices are invitations to reconnect with the wisdom within.
All that you seek is within you. The breath is your bridge!
I look forward to breathing with you.
All Love,
Sharon
